Senate is the one-stop shop for student concerns. Our role is to listen and work towards addressing student needs. To do this, senators remain in close contact with university administrators and navigate the different channels to find the most appropriate method to serve their constituents' needs. Senators also play a crucial role in managing the ASUOP organization as a whole. Senators are in charge of providing funding to clubs, student organizations, and ASUOP's departments. Senators also serve on many university committees, advocating for the student voice in decisions regarding who to hire and what policies to pursue.
