ASUOP's Arts & Entertainment Programming Board, also known as A&E, is responsible for the planning and hosting of our ASUOP events and collaborations. Our team provides exclusive activities for students that include Block Party, Destress Fest, Off-Campus Excursions, and so much more! If there is something fun happening on campus, you can bet A&E probably had something to do with it. Make sure to check out all the different events A&E puts on throughout the year down below!

ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT

To welcome our new Tigers, A&E puts on Block Party! Block Party is the kickoff event of the year! Tigers new and returning come together to celebrate coming back to campus and making memories that will last a lifetime! Past acts include Grammy winning artist H.E.R & Kaash Paige, as well as DJ's from Stockton's local music collective, Plural Music. This is an annual event that happens right before the fall semester begins and is open to current students with proof of valid Student ID.

BLOCK PARTY

Oasis is the pool party event of the year! Take a break from classes and join A&E in a school wide pool party. There will be music, free food, games, prizes, and more! This is a yearly event that takes place during the fall semester and is open to all students with a valid Student ID.

We know finals are hard. That's why every December before Fall finals, we put on Destress Fest. We have tons of different activities which can include “Stuff a Plush” (make your own stuffed animal), video games, free food/drinks, raffle prizes, and much more! This is open to all students and is a one night takeover of our DUC.

DESTRESS FEST

If you loved Block Party, get ready for TigerLands! We invite a headlining musical guest to campus and put on a show near the end of our Spring semester. This is our idea of our very own music festival which includes things such as free food, photo booths, interactive activities, and more! Past artists include DJ Mustard, Kehlani, Rich The Kid, BLXST, and Doechii.

TIGERLANDS

Brickyards are our way of highlighting the talents of our students. Through small intimate performances, we invite students to showcase their talents. Brickyards happen throughout the year (Fall/Spring Semesters). All students are open to participate with various talents such as singing, playing an instrument, comedy, dance, spoken word or even DJing.

BRICKYARD

Our Film Series happens throughout the year (Fall/Spring Semester) and features several different box office hits. These films are shown for free to all current students at our Janet Leigh Theatre every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. Before certain films, A&E will host themed screening events such as pink popcorn at our "Barbie" showing and basketball jersey giveaways at our "Space Jam" showing.
